claggy but hopeful.
Oct. 7th, 2010 07:18 pmi seem to have caught a flicker of the cold you mentioned, witchy_miss! not like what you had, really... in the same ball park, but in height, not very close to home. the sinuses are a bit claggy at the edge of the throat, with a pinch now and then. i've tried a good saline dousing, with manuka honey. we'll see, we'll see. it can't do any harm.
i also found myself writing out huge emails to my GP and my mother's friend, whose daughter has CF, about manuka honey. i hope what i've said is useful.... it seems to work for me in regard to my sinuses. there's new studies in it, and for me, it worked keeping inflammation down... so. (i've only had one surgery, compared to others who have had SO much more, but hmm.. maybe it would work for others). i've also written another paper on MAC in showerheads, which i plan to post shortly in another journal (with the long version under a cut... i went nuts on it.) it's only relevant to people who take showers and have shaky immune systems/need immunosuppresant drug therapies. although it's pretty basic common sense, i ended up getting chatty. i'll have to take another look over it.
it's silly, i know, and the knowledge is all rather new... but if i had known it?
maybe i wouldn't have changed anything. i mean, take baths? i HATE baths.
my car's not starting again. damn you, Joker! i'll BEAT you! if you don't start tomorrow, you're getting towed to the mechanic's! even if you DO start, you're still going! bastard.
